New Photo Set - Salton Sea, Salvation Mountain & Slab City

Recently I spent a day in the Salton Sea area of California with some photographer friends. In all its desolation and desperation, there's a certain level of ingenuity evident from those who choose to eke out an existence in those harsh circumstances, and it's permeable if you pay attention. It's not a life I could envision for myself but I admire those who can. I've posted the shots to a set on Flickr.
